SEPATON CTO Miklos Sandorfi to Speak on ‘Deploying Data Deduplication in the Enterprise’ at Storage Networking World

Mr. Sandorfi’s session is entitled "Deploying Enterprise-Class Data Deduplication -- Walk before You Run" as part the Business Continuity: Protection, Backup & Recovery Track.  It is scheduled for 2:10 – 2:55 pm on Wednesday, October 15.  During his session, Mr. Sandorfi will discuss that data deduplication is going to change the world of secondary storage forever but cautions that even non-disruptive game-changing technologies should be implemented using best practices methodologies.  He will present a three phase implementation methodology for large enterprises that allows for the systematic migration of specific backup policies from test to production environment, according to industry-accepted best practices.  He will review the recommended steps of each phase including assessment; planning and solution design; deployment and integration; and testing for optimal outcome and minimal risk.
